TRASH, RECYCLABLES, & REMOVAL

The City of Fayetteville has a contract with Waste Industries (formerly CLM) for the collection of solid waste and recyclable materials from single-family houses and duplex residential units inside the City limits.

Collection takes place on Fridays, except on weeks when a holiday falls on Monday, then the pickup will be on Saturday.  For more information, please contact Waste Industries Customer Service at 770-474-9273.

View from the Street

Trash and recyclable receptacles must not be viewed from the street.  Residents are required to store their receptacles OUT OF SIGHT.  Most residents keep them in their garage or behind a screen (screens must be approved by the ARB).

Removal of Personal Items

We are very understanding about the fact that things break down, get old and wear out at times.  If you need to remove personal items from your property, there are options.  You may visit the Fayette County Landfill and Transfer Station to schedule a drop-off, but call first.
